...Finding the places that lead us to our eco-community
In this episode, we had the pleasure of speaking with Laura Yochum, an eco-conscious friend of Madeleine's in Los Angeles. Madeleine met Laura at her fantastic refill shop, Prostainable, which she started after leaving a long corporate career in the beauty industry. Now Laura, who is certified by the Permaculture Academy of Los Angeles, is on a mission to help others minimize their environmental impact through the products she sells at her store. During our conversation, Laura shares her hopeful vision for the future, focusing on raising awareness and doing what we can to make sustainable choices and cut down on waste.
A few takeaways you will get from this episode:
How we can try and limit plastic waste in our day-to-day lives
How important it is to have a community of people around you who share your environmental values
